The portrait brief

The sitting was intentionally reduced to one person, one green lace dress and a single-light studio setup. With fewer elements to manage, the session could stay focused on Uyi’s presence and the gradual changes in pose.

The photographic approach

Direct portraits are mixed with movement, mirrored frames and softer film-like studies. Crimson tulle and a blue backdrop introduce colour while the repeated dress holds the sequence together.
