Artist and Press Portrait Photographer in Lagos

I make portraits for artists who need images that feel recognisably like them. Sessions are clearly directed without forcing a performance, leaving enough room for character, gesture and the unexpected frame to come through.

№ 01

A calm, directed set

Clear direction helps people stop thinking about the camera. I keep the set focused, explain what I am looking for and adjust the pace around the person in front of me so expression never feels manufactured.

№ 02

Portraits with a purpose

Press photographs, cover artwork and campaign images have different requirements. We establish the intended uses before the session so the composition, styling, setting and number of final images support the release.

№ 03

An image world for the artist

A strong portrait can introduce a wider project. Where the brief calls for it, I develop a visual language that can carry from the main artwork into supporting press images and the rest of the release campaign.

Before you enquire

What do you need from me to give a quote?
The project type, intended use for the images, preferred dates and location, and a rough budget range. The enquiry form asks for exactly this, and a rough answer to each is enough to start — I will follow up with the right next questions.
Will the portraits feel directed or natural?
Both — clear direction with room to breathe. I keep the set calm, explain what I am looking for and adjust the pace around the person in front of me, so expression never feels forced or manufactured.
Can the same session cover press images and cover artwork?
Often, yes. We establish the intended uses before the session — press, publicity, or album and single cover photography are different requirements, and the composition, styling and number of final images can be planned to support more than one.
